Overview

Electro Rent is seeking a contract Business Systems Analyst II, Scrum Master / Project Manager to drive execution across our digital commerce initiatives. Acting as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations) and the web development team, you will own sprint execution, facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage the product backlog, and ensure Azure DevOps is a reliable source of truth. Your work will focus on our customer-facing web experiences, B2B e-commerce capabilities, punch-out integrations, and the MyER portal. If you're an organized, proactive communicator with a passion for delivery and Agile process excellence, we’d love to meet you. The ideal candidate has experience working with complex systems, translating business needs into functional requirements, and supporting cross-departmental collaboration to improve processes and system capabilities.

Responsibilities

Backlog & Sprint Management 

  • Own the backlog: prioritize, refine, and maintain detailed user stories with acceptance criteria. 
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to convert ideas into actionable work items. 
  • Ensure all tasks, user stories, bugs, and documentation in Azure DevOps are current and clearly defined. 
  • Partner with the Product Manager to align sprint goals with business priorities. 
     

Agile Facilitation 

  • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. 
  • Remove impediments for the development team and track action items to closure. 
  • Monitor team velocity and recommend process improvements for better delivery. 
     

 

Stakeholder Collaboration 

  • Serve as the bridge between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring alignment on scope and timeline. 
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions and support solution walkthroughs with stakeholders. 
  • Ensure stakeholders receive timely updates and understand delivery progress and risks. 
     

Release Readiness & QA Coordination 

  • Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles, coordinating test scripts, testers, and results. 
  • Ensure that releases meet business expectations and that go-lives are smooth and well-communicated. 
     

Support & Documentation 

  • Triage incoming support issues, replicate and document bugs, and manage resolution paths. 
  • Ensure all changes are fully documented and meet compliance or audit requirements. 

Keep integrations and dependencies in check across platforms. 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or Business Analyst in a digital or e-commerce environment. 
  • Strong command of Azure DevOps: Boards, Queries, Dashboards, Wiki, and Delivery Plans.
  • Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and experience facilitating cross-functional teams. 
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Familiarity with B2B e-commerce portals, punch-out integrations (cXML/OCI), and order-to-cash workflows. 
  • Ability to analyze API payloads/logs and troubleshoot front-end web issues using browser tools. 
  • Comfortable with coordinating releases, managing timelines, and leading testing cycles. 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce, or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and light reporting.
  • Exposure to Freshservice or similar ITSM tools.
  • Familiarity with UX best practices and web analytics tools.

 

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

All positions will require, to some degree, the physical abilities described below to perform the essential functions of the job in an office environment

 

  • Work the expected hours, consistently arrive at work at the agreed time and follow Company rules and guidelines regarding breaks and meal periods.  Full time is typically considered to be 40 hours per week
  • Communicate effectively both orally as well as written.  Ability to be understood in face-to-face communication, in person or remote, to speak with level of proficiency and volume to be understood over a telephone or computer.
  • Ability to encounter constant work interruptions; work cooperatively with others; work independently; work indoors. Prolonged period sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Work in a low to moderate noise environment with frequent deadline pressures.  Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Be able to read documents.  Ability to read small print and view a computer screen for prolong periods, prepare, or inspect documents and operate office equipment.
  • Ability to hear average or typical conversations and receive ordinary information.  Communicate effectively via phone
