Position Summary:

Electro Rent is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to take on a high-impact role that drives efficiency, innovation, and business success across AMER, EMEA, and APAC? We’re looking for a proactive, solutions-driven Salesforce Administrator to be the backbone of our CRM strategy and system reliability.

 

In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for Salesforce support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while continuously enhancing the platform to empower users, streamline processes, and drive strategic growth. You’ll tackle support tickets, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement smart solutions that elevate the user experience and operational efficiency across our global business.

Responsibilities

Own & Optimize Salesforce Administration

  • Configure, maintain, and enhance Salesforce solutions that drive business growth.
  • Manage user permissions, security settings, and role hierarchies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Create and modify custom objects, fields, workflows, Flows, and Process Builders to fit evolving business needs.
  • Improve system usability through strategic updates and enhancements.
  • Act as the go-to expert for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and proactive system improvements.

Be the Driving Force Behind Reports & Dashboards

  • Build and manage custom reports, dashboards, and call lists to provide real-time visibility into key metrics.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Optimize reporting structures to improve tracking, forecasting, and sales performance analytics.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Conduct gap-fit analyses to determine opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
  • Document and refine business processes, ensuring Salesforce aligns with company goals.

Train, Support & Empower Users

  • Provide ongoing user training and best practices guidance to enhance adoption and maximize productivity.
  • Deliver hands-on support to troubleshooting issues and ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Proactively communicate system updates and improvements, ensuring all users are informed and prepared.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned, in accordance with business needs and organizational goals

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in Salesforce Administration  
  • Salesforce Administrator 201 Certification preferred  
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce reporting / dashboarding 
  • Extensive experience analyzing sales data and sales KPIs 
  • Requirements gathering and documentation 
  • Data cleansing using Excel and other data tools 
  • Experience training end-users and producing training collateral  
  • Ability to understand end-goals and work with a team 
  • Ability to complete tasks within defined timeframes 
  • Marketing understanding is an advantage 
  • Detail oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills 
  • Proven ability to utilize Salesforce.com as a sales analysis tool 
  • Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications Word, Excel and Outlook  
  • Strong problem solving skills, data and software applications 
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Awareness and exposure to Agile methodology 
  • Positive attitude 

 

Experience & Education

 

  • BA degree or equivalent is preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in Salesforce Administration

Physical Requirements

  • All positions will require, to some degree, the physical abilities described below to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Work the expected hours, consistently arrive at work at the agreed time and follow Company rules and guidelines regarding breaks and meal periods.  Full time is typically considered to be 40 hours per week
  • Communicate effectively, both oral (in person and on the phone) and written.
  • Move around and through all work areas as needed, may include climbing stairs or ladders
  • Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds (i.e. books, reports, binders etc.)
  • Regularly sit at the assigned workstation
  • Use keyboard or equivalent equipment, to access the computer,
  • Use hands to manipulate documents and general paperwork to view contents
  • Read documents, reports, files etc.
  • Communicate effectively using the telephone
