Position Summary:

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the inside sales team in achieving revenue targets, key productivity metrics, and best-in-class customer satisfaction goals. Provides coaching and support to the Inside sales team. Works closely with the senior executives and cross functional leadership to ensure alignment with overall strategies and objectives. Assists in providing technical support to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with outside sales and other critical functional departments to achieve revenue objectives and margin targets.
  • Lead and motivate the inside sales team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to identify sales opportunities and customer needs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional sales support, product information, and customer service.
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Order Management, and Sales Operations teams to develop and implement processes and procedures to continuously improve inside sales operational efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with the outside sales team, the marketing team, and the product management team to develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new products, and competition to provide strategic insights to the sales and product management team.
  • Oversee the sales reporting process and ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales performance metrics.
  • Participate in the development of the company's sales and pricing policies.
  • Provide training and coaching to the inside sales team to ensure continuous improvement in sales skills and knowledge.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned, in accordance with business needs and organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing or related field. MBA Preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales in the test equipment rental industry.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce or other similar CRM platforms
  • Sales reporting experience with leadership and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

 

Experience & Education

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing or related field. MBA Preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales in the test equipment rental industry.

 

$125,000 to $155,000 annually (Salary range includes total salary and commission earnings at target)

 

Physical Requirements

  • All positions will require, to some degree, the physical abilities described below to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Work the expected hours, consistently arrive at work at the agreed time and follow Company rules and guidelines regarding breaks and meal periods.  Full time is typically considered to be 40 hours per week
  • Communicate effectively, both oral (in person and on the phone) and written.
  • Move around and through all work areas as needed, may include climbing stairs or ladders
  • Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds (i.e. books, reports, binders etc.)
  • Regularly sit at the assigned workstation
  • Use keyboard or equivalent equipment, to access the computer,
  • Use hands to manipulate documents and general paperwork to view contents
  • Read documents, reports, files etc.
