  • Technology Remarketing Account Executive

    Reports to:  National Sales Director



    The Technology Remarketing Account Executive (Rush Computer Rentals) will work as a part of the sales team to generate demand through a series of email and telephone campaigns to qualify and develop new customers and prospects. Converting customer needs into orders for products, programs or services offered by Rush is the priority. Sets up and executes orders in the company’s ERP system in accordance with the commitments made to the customer.  Develops business opportunities for the Company's products and services by contacting existing and potential customers. 


    This person will need to understand Technology Product sales from key manufacturers like Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Apple, and apply those to the needs and requirements of customers in an assigned territory.  Additional experience in used equipment remarketing, rentals or leasing would also be an asset.


    • Responds to customer inquiries to develops relationships, identify customer needs and convert them to orders.
    • Executes orders using the Company's ERP system – presently a custom-built solution, by migrating to MS Dynamics or D365,
    • Coordinates and evaluates opportunities with the Rush Product Management team
    • Plans and executes a sales call-out schedule for assigned existing and potential customers with a minimum of 100 calls per week.
    • Proactively pursues and develops sales relationships with key personnel and targets various segments within assigned accounts to promote account support and determine future needs for products and services. Maintains current and accurate information on each account in the Company’s CRM system – Salesforce.com (SFDC)
    • Creatively proposes product solutions designed to maximize the utilization of available or ex-rental fleet products.
    • Proactively pursues and develops relationships with assigned accounts.
    • Proactively builds out customer profiles in SFDC, growing your subscriber base weekly by at least 25 new contacts
    • Introduce clients to the Company’s ecommerce platform to promote self-service
    • Occasionally performs special tasks as assigned.


    • Knowledge of IT / technology products carried in the Rush inventory
    • Knowledge typically gained through two (2) years inside sales experience or other experience dealing directly with customers in a technical sales environment.
    • Ability to successfully multi-task and manage concurrent selling situations.
    • Must be highly computer literate with the ability to access, input and retrieve data from Company databases
    • Ability to perform the required physical elements of the job (listed below)
    • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. 

    Measurement of Performance

    • Achievement of product sales goals.
    • New business development.
    • Achieve all sales activity metrics in terms of calls, subscribers, opportunities, etc
    • Timeliness of follow-up and quality of customer contact, CRM utilization
    • General job performance as defined by standard company performance evaluation and requirements.

    Physical Requirements

    All positions will require, to some degree, the physical abilities described below in order to perform the essential functions of the job:


    Work the expected hours, consistently arrive at work at the agreed time and follow Company rules and guidelines regarding breaks and meal periods.  Full time is typically considered to be 40 hours per week.


    • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
    • Move around and through all work areas as needed; may include climbing stairs or ladders.
    • Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds (i.e. books, reports, binders, etc.).
    • Regularly sit at the assigned workstation.
    • Use keyboard or equivalent equipment to access the computer.
    • Use hands to manipulate documents and general paperwork in order to view contents.
    • Read documents, reports, files, etc.
    • Communicate extensively and effectively using the telephone
