In this pivotal role, the Solutions Marketing Manager’s primary responsibility is to enable commercial success of Electro Rent product and services by leading the GTM plan to optimize marketing performance for their respective business line and solution(s). This includes execution of end-to-end GTM mix (messaging/positioning, thought-leadership, demand generation programs, sales enablement, partner management, customer experience, etc.). You will be responsible for creating compelling content and messaging, and delivering that content via the most effective channels. This role is about creating demand with innovative campaigns. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop messaging strategy, positioning, value proposition and competitive differentiation of Electro Rent products and services. You will conceive, build, and execute marketing demand generation programs that result growth in qualified leads and awareness.


Your efforts need to align to three basic principles—results oriented action (focus on creative activities that drive real results), metrics driven decision-making (drive and continually refine the plan based on input and output metrics) and discipline around creating innovative marketing plays. You must be a creative thinker who thrives on winning and collaborating. It is critical in this role that you pursue challenge, operate with a sense of urgency, and have a passion for team success. 


  • Design and execute on go-to-market plans with an emphasis on Electro Rent product and services, industry trends and customer user cases that drive Marketing contribution results.
  • Develop and lead demand generation marketing campaigns to drive qualified lead generation and increase sales pipeline.
  • Establish effective working relationships with Sales, Product Management, OEM Partners, and customers to develop compelling, creative materials that differentiate Electro Rent.
  • Create marketing assets that integrate proof points, differentiation and business value, enabling sales to articulate and prove the value proposition.
  • Create and manage solution content including sales tools, website copy, product and solution briefs, sales and customer presentations, internal communications, and FAQs.
  • Develop benefit oriented, differentiated collateral including, use cases, ROI proof points, blogs and customer testimonials, to be utilized in demand generation and thought leadership efforts.
  • Promote and evangelize solutions across all medias digital and at industry events.


  • Proven track record developing and growing product, software and service offerings as a marketing manager. Software and services experience preferred, but not required.
  • Marketing experience in the test and measurement industry required.
  • Marketing technology expertise in one or more of the following: Mobility, IoT, Wireless, RF and Microwave, Cellular, data center, networking, or network management applications
  • Marketing knowledge of network vendors, federal, enterprises and/or service provider customers


  • 7+ years of professional marketing experience of which 5+ years of experience in a technology product company
  • Creative thinker and excellent marketer
  • Strong ability to translate concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and at levels of an organization
  • Experience working closely with a sales organization with a strong affinity for sales success
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce.com and Marketing automation tools
  • Bachelor’s degree
