Strategic Account Manager - P&I

Electro Rent Corporation is the world's leading technology services company. We rent, lease and sell general purpose test and measurement equipment and solutions to telecommunication, aerospace, computer and other electrical/electronic companies. 


We are currently seeking a self-directed, proven sales professional to fill the role of Strategic Account Manager (Outside sales, home-based). The person will assume responsibility for new business development as well as growth within existing accounts in our Southwest territory. Travel in this area includes Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas and Louisiana.


  • 5+ years of outside sales experience & familiarity with hardware test equipment sales/service (manufacturers include Megger, Doble, Dranetz, Omicron, Vanguard, etc.)
  • Electrical/power/testing industry experience
  • Ability to successfully manage concurrent selling situations, and prioritize revenue opportunities within a multi-state territory
  • Must be able and willing to perform overnight travel that may involve air transportation as this position requires multi-state travel up to 60% of the time
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an insurable record
  • Microsoft Office proficient, and possess excellent communication skills
